Dear Editor,
Kerry, Kerry, Kerry …
Don’t you wish you had run your campaign on the issues instead of trying to boost your popularity on your Vietnam service? Boy, has that backfired. The swift boat group of distinguished veterans and the gunners mate who were on your boat have brought into question your integrity.
I would like to see the media print your testimony in the Capitol on how you participated in random killings and how awful our soldiers were as you, an officer, watched.
Your purple hearts and Silver Star have been brought into question. Why not have the government release your records. They must have meant a lot to you, so why don’t you put them up for display since you want to run on your record. (Oh, I forgot, you threw them away after you requested to be released from the service – just four and a half months of service –and went on to participate in anti-war demonstrations while our servicemen and women continued risking their lives.)
And really, Kerry, isn’t it censorship to tell the print and broadcast media not to sell or broadcast the swift boat book and not to run their ads?
You have been screaming about the soft money groups and their ads, and yet we could go on your Web site and you have a link to move on.org, one of the four major groups that are spending millions of soft money supporting you.
What a tangled web we weave!
