With regard to Steve Owens’ letter last evening about lack of DSL service: Steve, have you tried South Valley Internet? I’ve had DSL for about four years through SVI and the service has been quite reliable.
Their office staff is also excellent; and only one touchtone away from a real live person. Technical help is available even on weekends.
I realize you have to be within a certain distance from the switching exchange to obtain the service, but you’ll never know until you call. They’re at 683-4533 or http://garlic.com/. I highly recommend them.
