The Gilroy Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect or suspects responsible for a shooting that took place early Sunday morning at an apartment complex located at 985 Montebello Drive.
When officers arrived at approximately 3:50 a.m., they found “obvious signs” the apartment had been struck with gunfire, according to a GPD press release.
Based on a preliminary investigation, an unknown suspect or suspects fired multiple rounds into the back of an apartment. The suspect or suspects then fled in an unknown direction from the building.
Though four adults and two children were occupying the residence at the time of the shooting, the GPD reported that no one was injured.
