The Gilroy High boys basketball team will face a familiar foe in tonight’s championship game of the 32nd annual Bob Hagen Memorial Tournament.

After the host Mustangs defeated Pioneer, they sat back and watched as Christopher High and San Benito played in the night’s other semifinal. The Balers prevailed 64-52, setting up an earlier-than-anticipated metting between the two league rivals.

Game time tonight is slated for 6 p.m.

Before that though, the Cougars will square off against Pioneer in the third-place game at 4:30 p.m.

In CHS’s loss to San Benito, Marcus Harrell had 16 points, while Dillon Babb posted a double-double – 15 points and 14 rebounds. Wyatt Rocheleau and Andrew Foster also hit double digits, scoring 10 points apiece.
