The Women-in-Black organization began 20 or more years ago. It had its beginning in Israel as a pro-Palestine, anti-Israel group of women in their black habits or burqas. They were joined by ultra-Orthodox Jews who believe Israel should not exist as a nation.

From there, the organization spread to the former Yugoslavia Republic, that is, to Serbia and Kosovo. They received a big boost when former President Bill Clinton, using US planes with NATO markings, bombed the Christians to save the Muslims. That was before Sept. 11, 2001. (Was 9-11 a payback?) Now they are in Hollister and Gilroy.Has the tiger change its stripes?

The Women-in-Black give the appearance of accepting killing women and children if they are Christians in Kosovo or Jews in Israel as well as accepting indiscriminate bombing of buildings (with airplane bombs) if the victims are Americans. And Gilroy-in-Black patterns themselves after this group. Shame on you.

At some point, the Gilroy-in-Black and Hollister-in-Black people may cross that thin line between patriot pacifist and an abdication of responsibility. I think that time has passed.
