Karisse Hayashi and Timothy Sakahara were married Oct. 5 at the

Karisse is the daughter of Patrick and Lanette Hayashi of Kailua, Hawaii. She is a graduate of the University of Santa Clara and is now employed as promotions producer at KTVL-TV, the CBS affiliate in southern Oregon.

Timothy is the son of Gene and Kathryn Sakahara of Gilroy. He graduated from Gilroy High School and the University of California at Los Angeles and is now emplyed as a news reporter at KDRV, Channel 12, the ABC affiliate in southern Oregon. Both met while working at KNTV, Channel 11 in San Jose. They currently live in Medford, Ore.

Karisse chose sisters Kiralle and Kerina Hayashi as her maids of honor and Norma Yudiar, Jodie Pang and Danielle Fodor were attendants.

Timothy’s best man was Douglas McMillian and the groomsmen were Jesus Varela, Jon Van Pelt, Shane Leivas and Ben Canzano.

The couple had a reception at Monarch Banquet Room at the Roayal Hawaiian Hotel in Oahu, Hawaii, Oct. 5, and at San Juan Oaks Golf Club Nov. 9. They spent their honeymoon in Molokai and Maui, Hawaii.
