Hazel Scott Cronin Connery

HAZEL SCOTT CRONIN CONNERY, born 7/6/15 in Whitney, SD and a resident of Gilroy, died peacefully surrounded by family on 4/3/09. She was a highly adored daughter, sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Predeceased by husbands Patrick Cronin and Charles Connery and daughter Maeve Cronin-Williams. Hazel will be sadly missed by her children Deirdre (late Hugh) Saracino, Eileen (late Daniel) Cuevas, Kevin (Gail) Cronin, Kathleen Cronin (Sean Maffett), Joan Cronin (Sean Dempsey), and Coemella Cronin (John Wilson), and her loving sister Ruth. Loving Grandma to 19, Great-Grandma to 6 and Auntie to many nieces and nephews. Despite life’s many challenges, Hazel remained unflappable, gracious, positive, and patient. Her garden and home were reflections of her character. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Gilroy, Thursday, 4/9/09, 10:00 A.M.
