GILROY – The Hit Men rolled past Victoria’s Italian Deli 15-0 Friday to remain tied atop the Men’s D Softball League standings at Christmas Hill Park.

Mark Maggiora scored three runs and Mike Maggiora plated three runs as the Hit Men reached 4-1, tied with Humboldt Brewing for first place. The two clubs meet Tuesday at 8:50pm at Christmas Hill for the first-half crown.

Kurt Maltman aided the Hit Men cause with two doubles and a single. Ricky Krogen went 2-for-2 for Victoria’s Italian Deli.

Dave Keim Jr. lined a three-run home run, a triple and single to paced Humboldt Brewing past Bike Center 13-5. Dave Robinson went 3-for-3 for the Brewers, Tony Altamirano 3-for-4 for Bike Center.

Tax Systems dropped out of a first-place tie by losing a 19-15 contest to Los Cochinos.

Juan Arias and Steve Aguirre each collected three hits and scored three runs as Los Cochinos took a 19-7 lead. Aguirre finished 4-for-4 for the 3-3 winners. Danny Garcia led the Taxmen with four hits.

Anritsu capped a 6-0 first half in the Men’s EE League with an 18-3 win over the Good Ole Boys Thursday at Christmas Hill.

Ruben Sanchez went 3-for-3 and scored three Anritsu runs. Jeff Speno, Robie Kramer and Troy Smith each garnered two Good Ole Boys hits.

Rico llamas stroked a triple, double and single as 4-2 Team Hair FX outlasted Heinzen Manufacturing 11-5. John Jimenez went 3-for-4 for Heinzen Manufacturing.

VFW Bingo (4-2) stopped the OG’s 24-8 as Gary Tognetti went 5-for-5 and scored five runs. Pug Risner led the OG’s with two doubles and three RBI.

Pacific Coast Bail Bonds earned a switch to the CC League for the second half with a 21-4 decision over the Borrachos in Men’s E action Friday at Las Animas Park.

Josh Torres and Joel Gaeta hit consecutive homers as the Bondsmen finished 6-0. Mario Uribe went 2-for-2 for the Borrachos.

Kevin Austen’s two-run triple in the sixth inning lifted Gilroy Hondas Pilots by the Assassins 11-10. Chris Lee homered and Austen went 4-for-4. Louie Bobadilla homered for the Assassins.

Tyler Maslanka’s two-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning gave the Hit Crew (5-1) an 8-7 win over New Hope Community Church. Bill Hawkins went 3-for-4 for New Hope.

Hi-Energy Networks surprised RSW Racing 11-9 Thursday to leave both teams at 5-1 atop the Co-Rec C League standings.

Hi-Energy and RSW play at 6:30pm on Tuesday at Las Animas for the first-half title. Eric Martin went 3-for-3 and scored three Hi-Energy runs. Marco Lopez hit two home runs, Anthony Lucio one for RSW Racing.

Jeff Elliot and Art Garcia each went 3-for-3 as Out to Play-Pro Electric trimmed El Fuego 9-6. Josh Coy scored two El Fuego runs.

Amy Pope scored four runs and Jaime Flores went 4-for-4 to ignite Anritsu past the Big Kahunas 12-9. Mark Logan, Brett Scott and John Shouse each bagged three Big Kahunas hits.
