Hoops: Historic season for CHS girls ends in quarterfinals

Hanna Tabron scored 12 points, but Christopher High’s girls basketball team saw its season end with a 38-26 home loss to Notre Dame of San Jose in the quarterfinals of the Central Coast Section Division III playoffs Saturday.

Sixth-seeded Christopher, which was making its CCS quarterfinals debut in its own gym as a neutral site, finished the season 16-7 overall.

Geneva Meregillano paced third-seeded Notre Dame (20-8) with 14 points.
