Joe was born and raised in San Jose, and graduated from Del Mar High.
He is survived by his sister Danita Brigantino and nieces Kitra, Gloria, Carly-jo and Jacqui Brigantino. He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Bobbie Caputo and sister Kitra Caputo.
We are grateful to his faithful, loving friend for many years, Michela Petrizzelli.
Joe was a simple man and enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing guitar, rock hounding, riding motorcycles and helping the less fortunate. We will miss him, and take comfort in knowing that he his now in the loving arms our Lord and Savior.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday, June 27, 2011, beginning at 5:30 P.M. at Lima Family-Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow St., San Jose, CA. The family requests that donations in his memory go to the Second Harvest Food Bank, ATTN: Development Department, 750 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125-2118.
