Joseph Roybal Martinez, 56, former Oxnard resident, passed away Monday, April 7, in Gilroy.
A native of Ventura County, Martinez was born July 31, 1946, in Oxnard to Joseph and Mary Moraga Roybal. He was employed as a ranch maintenance worker.
He is survived by daughters Yvonne Duran and Susan Martinez, both of Oxnard; sons Joey Martinez of Oxnard and Andrew Martin of Oregon; mother Mary Solis and stepfather Frank of Los Banos; sisters Annette Tiscaveno of Oxnard and Kathy Martinez, both of Gilroy; brother Rudy Martinez of Oxnard; stepsisters Yolanda Mendoza and Peggy Arias, both of Gilroy; stepbrothers John Solis of Hollister, Rick Solis of Ceres and Ernie Solis of Gilroy; uncles Robert and Richard Moraga, both of Oxnard; numerous grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
