Jovita Buenrostro died in Gilroy on Dec. 2, 2003, following a brief illness.
She was born in Mexico 92 years ago. Mrs. Buenrostro lived in Gilroy for over 45 years.
She was the wife of the late Luis Buenrostro. She is survived by her daughter, Luz Del Toro, of Gilroy. She is the grandmother of Uriel Del Toro, Gina Del Toro, Jovita Del Toro, Rosa Del Toro, Rosendo Del Toro and Luiz Del Toro, all of Gilroy, and the great grandmother of 14.
Vigil Services will be held on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Funeral services will begin on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home and then proceed to St. Mary’s church for a funeral mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery.
