GILROY – The Lady Mustang junior varsity tumblers maintained their three-year unbeaten streak Tuesday with a third straight victory this season – scoring a 177.9 as a team over Cupertino (161.2).

“We’re hoping they can maintain their record for league finals,” head coach Nichole Anagnoston said.

Freshman Chelsea Garcia’s 34.75 all-around accumulation put her above the rest of the field in first place.

The streak was kept alive with sophomore Meghan Signoratti’s 33.8 all-around score for third-place as well as teammate Jessica Stone’s 33.5 for fourth and Marliz Copado’s 33.15 for fifth.

Sophomore Stephanie Orth went all out on her floor exercise – receiving a first-place mark of 9.45 – while teammate Jeena Fabie was first on beam with a 9.35.

Copado finished in first on vault with a 9.45.
