Mr. Dame passed away at his home in San Martin, Sunday, June 22, 2008. Husband of the late Beverly Dame. Father of Jeffrey Dame and his wife, Caren of Gilroy, Robin Dame and his wife, Kelly of Maui, HI, Regan Brown and her husband, Gregory of San Martin and the late Janis Dame. Grandfather of Scott & Tammy Lord, Genesis & Jordan Burns, Tiffiny & Stephany Dame, Gregory & Megan Dame and Ryan, Russell & Jesse Brown. Brother of Joe, Robert, Roy Dame all of Freeport, IL and the late Jim, Eunice and Alamede Dame. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
48 year resident of Oxnard, CA where he practiced family law with Frazier, Dame & Dougherty for 38 years. Navy Veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Member and past president of the Oxnard Noontime Lions and longtime member of Saticoy Country Club.
Funeral Services Monday, June 30, 2008 – 10:00 A.M. at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park Chapel, Ventura with a reception to follow. Donations to American Cancer Society or the Jeff Garcia “Pass It On Foundation” appreciated.
