Karla “Mimi” Nielsen died in San Jose on Jan. 8, 2003, at the age of 92.
She was born and raised in Denmark, lived in Canada and settled in California. Mimi worked in film production, and was an assistant to many famous movie personalities in Hollywood and Palm Springs.
She was kind and generous. She was happiness and goodness. Mimi brightened our lives and will be dearly missed.
Mimi is survived by her son; daughter-in-law; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many other loving nieces, nephews and friends.
A private memorial service has been held.
Cremation arrangements were through Neptune Society.
