Dear Editor,
I’m writing to you because I feel the people of Gilroy should know what happened to my daughter Tuesday night.
My daughter was at my brother’s house on Miller Avenue and went out to get her clothes out in our truck after she was done swimming.
When my daughter went outside she was approached by a Hispanic man driving a white vehicle with a black roof. The guy asked her to come over to him and she ignored him. When she did not respond he told her to get over here right now or he is going to get out and get her. He opened his door and began to get out as she hid around the cars and made her way to the front door.
I feel that something should be put in the local newspaper to warn other parents who have children.
