DEAR EDITOR:
Robert Mitchell’s recent column comparing Ronald Reagan to
George W. Bush had some funny one liners and I found myself
chuckling at them
– that is until my eyes fell upon the following quote from Mr.
Mitchell:
”
Reagan helped end the Cold War, Bush started two hot wars.

DEAR EDITOR:
Robert Mitchell’s recent column comparing Ronald Reagan to George W. Bush had some funny one liners and I found myself chuckling at them – that is until my eyes fell upon the following quote from Mr. Mitchell: “Reagan helped end the Cold War, Bush started two hot wars.”
Evidently Mitchell needs to be reminded that on Sept. 11, 2001 the United States was savagely attacked without warning or provocation, resulting in more than 5,000 deaths to innocent and unsuspecting American citizens.
How quickly some in this country forget. Mitchell’s amnesia serves as an example of the kind of “blame America first” liberal guilt that would see America reduced to a weak, helpless and sorry state.
