GHS stages first male pageant
Gilroy – They’ll strut their stuff, down the catwalk, yeah down the catwalk.
Local teens will don tuxes and PJs and even bust a move at the Gilroy High School Free Press’ first male beauty pageant today at 7:30pm in the GHS theater.
The bikini and high heels combination probably won’t be featured at this event, but contestants will show off a special talent, just like those gifted Miss America contestants.
To ensure the contest isn’t too girly, the boys will compete in a push-up contest.
The most talented and best looking guy will be crowned Mr. Gilroy High.
Tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the door. All proceeds support the Free Press, GHS’ own award-winning newspaper.
The Free Press needs community support on this fundraiser so the monthly publication can continue to be printed.
