Gilroy – A community forum will be held from 6 to 7pm Tuesday to gather input from residents about the ideal qualities, attributes and experience for Gilroy’s next City Administrator. The information obtained from the community and other stakeholders will be used in advertising the position and for screening applicants.

The meeting takes place in the City Council Chambers at Gilroy City Hall, 7351 Rosanna St.

Meet to Help Plan Grad Night

Gilroy – The first Gilroy High School Grad Night meeting will be held at 7pm Wednesday at the Gilroy High School Library for all interested parents of Gilroy High School seniors.

Project Community Meeting

Gilroy – The first T.E.E.N. project community meeting begins at 6pm Wednesday, in the Cannery Welcome Center on Monterey Street, and all interested community members are welcome to attend.

This is the first meeting and the AVID 11 students are planning a PowerPoint presentation.

Little League Needs Volunteers

Gilroy – Believe it or not, the 2008 Little League season is right around the corner. Join the dedicated team of volunteers who run the Gilroy Little League year after year. The board of directors will meet at 7pm, Thursday. Come and see how you can make a difference – for your kids and for the League. Meeting will be held in the Las Animas Park Recreation Room.

Art, Wine, Food and Music!

Gilroy – Treat your palate to delectable food and award winning wines at the Third Annual Gilroy Art & Wine Festival, from 11am to 6pm, Saturday, in downtown Gilroy.

Admission and parking are free.

Presented by the city of Gilroy Community Services division, Gilroy Downtown Business Association and Gilroy Visitors Bureau, this event showcases Santa Clara County Wineries.

In addition, festival attendees can view the Gilroy Arts & Culture exhibit and the Young Artists Show at the historic Willey Cultural Center.
