 Lt. Col. Jerry L. Peavy, US Army Retired, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 2, 2015 in Salinas, CA, at the age of 96. He was born in Stockton, CA, on September 7, 1918.
 Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Aileen Peavy, parents, sister and brother-in-law, Leigh and Ike Koppel.
 Jerry is survived by his son, Steven Peavy (Jane Selewach) of Baltimore, MD, daughter, Susan Clink of Salinas, granddaughter, Melissa (Brandon) Prater, great-grandson, Colton Prater of Hollister, and close family friend, Esmeralda Casas of Hollister.
 The family would like to thank the staff of Recollections at Villa Serra and VNA Hospice for their loving care and support.
