Morgan Hill – Santiago Maciel led the GHS charge at Friday’s TCAL swimming finals at Live Oak High, winning both the boys’ 200 IM with a time of 2:00.47 and the 100 fly in 53.84 seconds.
The senior also helped the Mustangs to a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay.
On the girls’ side, freshman Alex Marra, just moved up from junior varsity, placed sixth in the 50m freestyle with a time of 27.16 seconds. Marra also finished 8th in the 100m free, hitting 1:00 minute on the nose.
