About 4 a.m. Sunday, police were notified of a domestic violence incident unfolding in a residence on the 6000 block of Princevalle Street. At the residence, police found the victim bleeding from multiple minor cuts to an extremity, police said. The knife that caused the wounds was at the scene.
During the attack, the victim fended off the suspect, but had a cell phone stolen. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived, but was spotted by officers on the 8600 block of Wren Avenue a few hours later.
