Mary Rochelle passed away suddenly at her home in Hollister, Tuesday afternoon at the age of 87. She was a native of California having lived in Hollister most of her life. Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Y.L.I. and had worked many years for the local canneries.
Wife of the late Eliseo “Eli” Rochelle who died in 2004. Mother of Mary Ann Rochelle-Corpuz, husband, Rudy, of San Jose, Gloria Grimsley, husband, David, of Hollister and David Rochelle of Hollister. Grandmother of Nicole Jurado of San Jose, Michael Corpuz, wife, Monica, of San Jose, Stephen Grimsley, wife, Karey, of Hollister and Jennifer Nagle, husband, Taylor, of San Francisco. Great-grandmother of Jonathan, Megan, Cameron Jurado, Mia Corpuz, Brittany and Dylan Staag, Austin Grimsley and Xander Nagle. Sister of Carmen Belmudez, Teresa Cox, Eleanor Giannotta, Jess, Joe and Richard Bravo. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services were held last Friday at the Calvary Cemetery in Hollister. Contributions are preferred to your favorite charity.
