Takko-Machi residents 'shaken up' after earthquake

according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake hit at 1:46 p.m. It was centered in the Aromas area about six miles northwest of San Juan Bautista and 13 miles west/northwest of Hollister, according to the USGS.

It was at a depth of 3.1 miles.

Residents in the Hollister and Watsonville area reported feeling the temblor.
