McCarthy Business Park off Pacheco Pass Highway.

President Tammy Brownlow of the Gilroy Economic Development Committee confirmed that a national company is looking at building its new distribution center in the McCarthy Business Park on Highway 152, east of U.S. 101.
While remaining coy on the name of the company until the deal is done, Brownlow gave a couple of clues away.
“It’s an expansion of a company already in California,” she said. “Their plants in the Bay Area are running at capacity.”
And what will the massive 700,000 square-foot distribution center be dealing with on the 75-acre site?
Brownlow mentioned “natural foods” and “things you might find at a supermarket.”
McCarthy Business Park is sandwiched between Cameron Boulevard and Camino Arroyo on the east side of Highway 152. Developing the land and constructing the distribution center will be completed in two phases, Brownlow explained.
“It’s a huge boost,” Brownlow remarked. “Local people will be employed and it’s a yearlong project to build the place.”
“Local construction jobs will be coming to Gilroy,” she added.
