Matt Elam crunched a three-run home run in a 3-for-4 showing as New Hope joined Bracco’s Towing in first place. Trevino Brothers slipped to 2-1 midway through the first half of play.
Ted Tencati slapped three singles and Larry Reimal went 2-for-3 and scored two runs for New Hope. Matt Corona went 2-for-3 with one RBI for Trevino Brothers.
Manuel Lopez completed a 4-for-4 night with a two-run home run to spark Bracco’s Towing past No Soup 4 You 21-13.
Danny Rubalcava went 3-for-4 and Memo Lopez and Gilbert Lopez each homered for the Towmen. Joaquin Chacon hit a two-run homer and Sanjeev Saini roped three hits for No Soup 4 You.
The Loc Boys powered past Kenko Utility Supply 22-7 as Elias Madrid went 5-for-5 and scored five runs. Jimmy Castaneda mustered five hits and Ricky Castaneda went 3-for-4 for the winners. Jack Prefferie went 2-for-2 for Kenko Utility.
The Dirty Dozen moved to 2-1 with an 11-6 nod over Pacific Coast Bail Bonds.
Steve Aguirre and Joel Garcia each collected three hits for the Dozen. Michael Garcia stroked a three-run Dozen double. Eric Cantu went 3-for-3 and Mitch MacVicar 3-for-4 for Pacific Coast Bail Bonds.
Kluck University created a three-team tie atop the Women’s League Tuesday by edging Williams Dental Lab 12-10 at Christmas Hill Park.
Antoinette Bowe hit three doubles and Elena Garcia drilled a triple, double and two singles to help the winners move to 2-1. Cherie Somavia and Celia Bonilla each went 4-for-5 for the 2-1 Dental Lab.
Liz Talavera went 5-for-5 as Don’s Vending went to 2-1 with a 37-6 victory over Kay’s Kids. Angelica Garcia and Briana Vasquez each went 4-for-4 for the Vendors. Kathy Rogers lined a two-run double for Kay’s Kids.
