Police blotter: Burglary, possession of a switchblade
The Gilroy Police Department recently responded to a variety of crimes, including burglary, possession of a switchblade, driving under the influence and vandalism. Arrests were recorded in the GPD blotter May 15 through 21. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
Three South County residents arrested on suspicion of Campbell shooting
Following a four-month investigation that relied heavily on public views of surveillance camera footage, police arrested three South County residents for their alleged involvement in an October shooting outside a Campbell nightclub, authorities said.

Hearing continued for hit and run suspect
A plea hearing for Sandra Arias, the Morgan Hill woman accused of felony hit and run in an incident that critically injured Joshua Valdez, 23, was continued Tuesday at South County Courthouse.
