Lyman Gregg Horton
Lyman Gregg Horton, a Carmel resident since 1996, died at his home on July 12, 2008. A native of South Pasadena, CA, he was born November 26, 1915. Lyman received his Engineering Degree from UC Berkeley and was a Civil and Structural Engineer for 43 years. He is survived by his wife, Dorothea "Beps" Horton of Carmel; his daughters, Ann Horton of Reno and Carol (Jerry) Hawkins of Hollister; his sisters, Barbara Wiley of Manhattan, KS and Phyllis Borie of Douglas City, CA; his grandsons, Mark Hawkins of Hollister and Lee (Anna) Hawkins of Bakersfield and his great-granddaughter, Allyson. Lyman was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Ferguson Horton, in 1991. At his request, no services will be held.
