Olga N. Bertuccio

Olga N. Bertuccio passed away last Tuesday at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital at the age of 84. Olga was born and raised in Hollister and lived here all her life. She attended local schools and graduated from San Benito High School. She was a member of Immaculate Conception and Sacred Heart parishes, and a member of the Farm Bureau. Olga was an orchardist as well as the proprietor of Bertuccio's Fruit Stand at her property on Airline Highway where she enjoyed working and assisting people. "She liked it because it kept her in touch with her friends", said her family. "She wasn't a stranger to people, because she always wanted to assist people", said her sister, Irma. She also had a great love for animals, especially her dogs and cats.
