Dominguez in court, plea delayed
The former Gilroy Unified School District Board of Education trustee who faces charges for swindling $52,000 from a leading South County nonprofit and using campaign donations for personal expenses appeared in court today, only to delay criminal proceedings to next month.Â

Harvest Coffee House moves
The Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce was out to support the move of the Harvest Coffee House to its new location at 1295 E. Dunne Ave., Suite 100 in Morgan Hill. Joining Chamber President John Horner and Chairman of the Board Rich Firato, were ambassadors and board members, including Lorraine Welk, Leonette and Tony Stafford, Persis McGinty, Suzanne Barrett, Tim Hennessy and Teresa Martin. Mayor Steve Tate and Councilwoman Marilyn Liebers were also present to watch Harvest Coffee House owner, Frank Alvarez cut the ribbon to the new store.
Gilroy man found guilty of murder
The Gilroy man who drunkenly plowed his truck into a young family and killed a 4-year-old boy three years ago was found guilty by a jury for second-degree murder this week.Â
Armed robbery at D&S Money Market
Police responded to an armed robbery today that happened at about 10:30 a.m. at D&S Money Market, located at 281 First St. in Gilroy.
