Signatures put a hold on Co-ed Bathroom bill
Following the August passage of the Co-ed Bathroom bill – the first of its kind in the nation – more than 600,000 signatures flooded into the California Secretary of State's office, asking for the lawmaker-approved bill to go before California citizens for a vote.

Dionicio Guttirez, Jr. passed away at his Hollister home at the age of 58. He was born in Hollister and lived here all of his life. He attended local schools and worked as a carpenter by trade. He attended New Harvest Christian Fellowship, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and really enjoyed family reunions that were held every two years.
