Q&A with City Councilmember Cat Tucker

Growth, growth and more growth. Possibly more than any other member of the Gilroy City Council, Cat Tucker has had to ponder the impacts of growth in Gilroy and surrounding communities. She served as vice chair of the Gilroy General Plan Advisory Committee and chaired the board of LAFCO of Santa Clara County. In this Q&A, Tucker talks about how LAFCO decisions impact South County cities and how Gilroy can maintain its identity as it continues to grow.

Rose Mary Laveroni passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at her home in Ridgemark. Rose Mary was born and lived in Hollister all her life and was a graduate of Hollister High School. She had worked for many years for the Pacific Telephone Co. in Hollister. Rose was a avid golfer and member of Ridgemark Golf & Country Club, Bolado Golf Club, Ridgemark Womens Club and a former volunteer and director of the Hazel Hawkins Hospital Auxiliary.
