Should security cameras be a priority at all schools?

Gilroy – Luigi Aprea Elementary School does not have a security system on its campus, and the school district doesn't plan on installing one any time soon – despite a lockdown Thursday that may have involved a man with a gun on campus.

Gilroy Foundation distributes close to $350K in scholarship money to local grads

The Gilroy Foundation, a local philanthropic nonprofit organization, gave out $343,450 in scholarships this year to 53 Gilroy and Morgan Hill graduates.
