Over the past year education has improved in Gilroy and much of

I do not know of all who have helped but I do want to thank and acknowledge Cynthia Walker, Denise Baer Apuzzo, Tom Bundros, The Alliance For Academic Excellence, parents who have encouraged their students to take more advanced classes, and parents who have worked to strengthen the English reading list at Gilroy High.
Although the task of improving Gilroy education took a setback with the shelving of the California High School Exit Exam, progress is being made and to all involved in this task I thank you.
