Gilroy Little League festivities kick off at X-Mas Hill Park at
8:30 a.m.
GILROY – Gilroy Little League will have its opening ceremonies on Saturday, beginning with a march from the ranch field of Christmas Hill Park to the ampitheatre at 8:30 a.m.
The ceremonies will continue from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the ampitheatre and then food will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Opening games will kick off at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on all three fields at Christmas Hill Park. There will also be additional games at Las Animas Park from noon to 4 p.m.
The opening ceremonies are sponsored locally by Weinershnitzel, Safeway, Nob Hill, South Valley Disposal and Coca Cola in cooperation with the City of Gilroy and Gilroy Little League.
