–The first 15 minutes of the game went scoreless until Kevin Jones got a pass to Leo Melendez – who was able to limp the ball into the net for the only goal of the game. Gator Goalie Diego Torres snapped up the shots and played a critical role in the shutout with excellent saves and strong goal kicks.
Garcia’s Party Supply Gators 0, Black Venom 0
–A long tough game against the Black Venom yielded no goals for either team.
Garcia Party Supply Gators 4, Cobras: 2
–The last game of the Jamboree paired up the closely-matched Gators and Cobras. The first goal of the game came with Kevin Jones’ left-footed shot that skipped its way into the back of the net. Jones also came up with the second goal of the game. The Cobras came back with a strong strike to score a goal to wrap up the first half. Brook Oneto started the second half up front and sped by the Cobra defense to score the third goal for the Gators. The Cobras kept the pressure up for another goal to make it 3-2. Everyone was trying to keep up with the Jones’, as Kevin was able to slip the last goal of the game into the net for his second hatrick of the season.
