Associate Pastor Mark Turner of South Valley Community Church announced to his congregation Sunday that he accepted the position of CEO for the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce. 
Previously on the Chamber board, Turner told church members he is excited to serve the community in a new role. 
Turner replaces current Chamber CEO Susan Valenta.
