Corral, Salazar slice up men’s division; Lewis leads ladies
league; Sullivan top senior.
GILROY – League bowlers Del Corral and Jess Salazar were on fire last week at the Gilroy Bowl as Corral (279 high) topped the charts with a 760 three-game series and Salazar (259 high) finished up with a 746 series.

High scores were at a premium with Tammy Lewis (279 high) tallying a 689 series to pace the women’s division and Jim Sullivan (207 high) bowling a 611 series.

The pins continued to fall in the men’s division for: Angel Montelongo (278 high, 692 series); Don Haygood (657 series, 244 high); Greg Low (617 series, 256 high); Frank Campanella (680 series, 248 high); Gary Miura (674 series, 236 high); Rich Dyson (648 series, 241 high); Kirk Tuckness (633 series, 242 high); Kurt Nelson (650 series, 224 high); Russ Wesch (659 series, 258 high); and Mike Lane (251 high).

Finishing off the women’s division were: Kathy Misenheimer (628 series, 229 high); Ann Boykin (211 high); Elaine Hawamoto (245 high); Sue Seward (221 high); Hiromi Sakai (656 series, 259 high); and Grace Kawano (590 series, 204 high).

Rounding out the senior’s division were Rudy Escobedo (592 series, 215 high) and Arlene Escobedo (581 series, 204 high).
