After working out of a variety of temporary locations for the past year, Pintello Comedy Theater will move into the Gilroy Grange Hall, 8191 Swanston Lane.
In a written statement, the Pintellos said the hall is the perfect location for the comedy theater to be housed because it is used mostly for small meetings, and its large auditorium is rarely used. The Pintellos said they were looking for a building in which they could both rehearse and perform, which the hall accommodates. Additionally, the hall is in a central location and has ample parking.
Opening night at the new location will be Sept. 22, with performances of the troupe’s new show, “The Supporting Cast,” continuing for five weekends. Written by Marion Pintello, the comedy stars five local actors: Heather Bass, Donna Knippen, Laura Glasspool, Rod Pintello and Stephanie Pintello.
