Hollister police are looking for suspects involved in a report of exchanged gunfire Sunday afternoon and have arrested a 25-year-old man who may have been linked, according to a police captain.

Police received the call around 1 p.m. Sunday for the report of shots fired in the 200 block of Teresita Court, on the west side of Hollister near Central Avenue, and believe that multiple parties may have exchanged gunfire. There were no injuries reported, said Hollister police Capt. David Westrick.

About 90 minutes after the report came through, police arrested the 25-year-old Hollister man for suspected driving under the influence and found a bullet hole in the truck, Westrick said.

“We’re investigating if there is a connection,” Westrick said.

He said investigators talked to some reporting parties, but that “no one is being cooperative.”
