Brass knuckles used in assault

Police arrested a 17-year-old teen in connection with a gang-related, brass-knuckle assault on a 20-year-old man, police said.
About 4:10 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a reported fight in the 7900 block of Westwood Drive. The first unit on the scene found the 20-year-old with a cut to the head. He told police he was struck by the suspect with the brass knuckles. He was taken by family members to a medical facility for treatment
This case is being investigated as gang related.
