Vehicle theft
Janet Lopez, 20, of the 900 block of Mantelli Drive, 4:32 a.m. Thursday, at 7900 Arroyo Circle for vehicle theft.
Driving under the influence
Michael Joseph Mendez, 49, of San Jose, 10:52 a.m. Thursday, on Monterey Highway for driving under the influence and failure to appear in court.
Heidi Nichole Bay, 20, of the 9200 block of Calle del Ray, 1:37 a.m. Friday, near the intersection of Welburn Avenue and Gaunt Street for driving under the influence.
Forgery
Noela Kapiolani Pritchard, 50, of San Jose, 5:22 p.m. Thursday, at Wal-Mart, 7150 Camino Arroyo, for forgery.
Controlled substance possession
Wilmer Olmedo Velasco, 29, of the 8100 block of Forest Street, 9 p.m. Thursday, at 500 Lewis St. for possession of drug paraphernalia and on outstanding warrants for two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, possession of concentrated cannabis and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Petty theft
A theft occurred at Arteaga’s Super Save Market, 211 First St., 5:13 p.m. Wednesday.
A wallet and checkbook were stolen from an unattended purse of a shopper at Dollar Tree, 1260 First St., between 11 and 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Vandalism
Rocks were thrown through the rear widow of a Dodge Tacoma pickup and the front window of a house at 190 Bennett St., 9:37 p.m. Wednesday.
