The Gilroy Police Department recently responded to a variety of crimes, including first-degree burglary, felony infliction of bodily injury, child endangerment and driving under the influence. The arrests were recorded in the GPD blotter April 3 through 10.
Burglary
-Jason Pauls, 37, April 5 at 8:10 p.m. on the 7100 block of Camino Arroyo for felony first-degree burglary, possessing burglary tools and resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer.
-Johnny Morales, 32, April 6 at 9:03 p.m. on the 6700 block of Camino Arroyo for felony first-degree burglary.
-Sara Solorio, 22, April 9 at 2:30 p.m. on the 800 block of First Street for second-degree burglary, petty theft and two charges of possession of a controlled substance.
Domestic violence
-Fernando Salgado, 24, April 8 at 2:28 p.m. near the intersection of Seventh and Church streets for felony infliction of bodily injury on a spouse or cohabitant, felony violation of a protection order with prior offenses and battery against a spouse, cohabitant or friend.
-Oswaldo Serafin Rojas, 36, April 9 at 3:58 p.m. near the intersection of Travel Park Circle and Monterey Road for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for battery on a former spouse, fiancé or friend.
-Ramiro Chavez, 36, April 10 at 10:23 a.m. on the 7500 block of Chestnut Street for battery on a former spouse, fiancé or friend and representing a false ID to a police officer.
-Pavel Zapata, 35, April 10 at 10 a.m. near the intersection of Monterey Street and Welburn Avenue for felony infliction of bodily injury on a spouse or cohabitant.
Driving under the influence
-David Boll, 60, April 6 at 4:54 a.m. near the intersection of First Street and Miller Avenue for DUI, hit and run and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or higher.
-Antonio Morales, 36, April 6 at 1:02 p.m. on the 7800 block of Monterey Road for DUI, felony child endangerment and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or higher.
-Jorge Barahona, 24, April 7 at 3:44 a.m. near the intersection of Seventh and Church streets for DUI, driving while unlicensed and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or higher.
-David Melgoza, 34, April 6 at 11 p.m. on the 7300 block of Hanna Street for DUI, unlawful possession of paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
-Martin Aldama, 24, April 7 at 11:26 p.m. near the intersection of Lewis and Chestnut streets for DUI, driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or higher and possession of marijuana in a vehicle.
