Abelardo Ortega Davilla, 40, of the 9400 block of Burchell Avenue, 8:10 a.m. Feb. 21, on the 500 block of Monterey Road in Morgan Hill for vandalism, burglary and possession of burglary tools. Davilla entered a pump house, vandalized the electrical box and stole copper wiring.
Brandishing a deadly weapon
Raymond Ramirez, 48, transient, 10:20 p.m. Feb 19, on the 2300 block of Leavesley Road for brandishing a deadly weapon and criminal threats. According to the victim, Ramirez pulled an 11-inch knife and said he was going to stab the victim.

Other sheriff’s incidents
Residential burglary
An unknown suspect broke into a residence near the intersection of Llagas Road and Enderson Court in Morgan Hill, between 8:30 and 9:45 p.m. Feb. 24, by breaking a back window of the home and garage and took unspecified items.
Recovered stolen vehicle
A 1994 turquoise Ford Explorer was stolen from Merced, between 3 p.m. Feb. 23 and 12 p.m. Feb. 24. The vehicle was recovered on the east shoulder of northbound U.S. 101 in San Martin, 12 p.m. Feb. 24.
Vandalism
A suspect from the 500 block of Dougherty Avenue in Morgan Hill got into a verbal argument with his aunt and threw a brick through her bathroom window, causing $100 in damages, 2:05 p.m. Feb. 22.
Use of access card
A Dassell gas card was stolen from a vehicle on the 10000 block of Santa Teresa Boulevard, between 12 p.m. Dec. 20 and 5 p.m. Jan. 8. An unknown suspect charged about $2,500 worth of gas in the Gilroy and Hollister area over the last couple months.
Fraud
A female suspect from the 10000 block of New Avenue applied for a student loan by forging her father’s signature and received a check for the loan, which she cashed in July 2006.
