A driver of a green 1998 GMC Sierra turned southbound on
Monterey Street from eastbound First Street and failed to see a
pedestrian lawfully crossing in a crosswalk, 8:01 p.m. Oct. 11. The
vehicle knocked the pedestrian to the ground, causing the
pedestrian to hit his head on the ground and go unconscious.
Hit and run

A 1993 white Toyota T10 and a black SUV were involved in an accident on Church Street, 1:34 a.m. Oct. 9.

A green 1996 Saturn collided with a black 1995 Mitsubishi, causing the Mitsubishi to hit a 1998 green Ford on Church Street, 9:06 p.m. Oct. 9. Someone saw the driver of the Saturn leaving the scene without notifying the owners of the parked cars.

Auto burglary

A burglar or burglars broke into a gray 2005 Dodge on the 7800 block of Rosanna Street and took a purse with credit cards, bank cards and blank checkbook, 6:36 a.m. Oct. 9.

A burglar or burglars broke into a red 2006 Mazda on 10th Street and took a tote bag with women’s gym clothing, a first aid kit, school supplies and miscellaneous medications, between 2:05 and 4:15 a.m. Oct. 8.

Animal in distress

An unidentified person found a sick dog on Hanna and Seventh streets, 8:58 a.m. Oct. 9.

Public disturbance

Two males fought with each other on Miller Avenue, 10:49 p.m. Oct. 9. Both were taken to hospitals for evaluations.

Animal bite

An unidentified person was bit by a dog on Calle Del Rey, 3 p.m. Oct. 9.

Petty theft

A thief or thieves stole a black wallet containing identification and credit cards from an unspecified location near Church and Eighth streets, 1 p.m. Sept. 30.

A thief of thieves stole a rear license plate from a silver 1999 Toyota Camry on First Street, between 12 p.m. Oct. 5 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 8.

Vandalism

An unknown Hispanic male adult was seen by police on Buttercup Lane and Fillipelli Drive, 11:12 a.m. Oct. 10. When the officer approached him, he fled on foot leaving behind a bag of clothing.

Two minors were cited and released to their parents for spray painting under a bridge near Kern and Tatum avenues, 12:01 p.m. Oct. 10.

An unidentified person or persons vandalized property on Ayer Drive, between 9 and 10:30 a.m. Oct. 11.

Found property

A Rite Aid store manager found a pink wallet with a driver’s license and credit cards on 10th Street, 3:38 p.m. Oct. 10.

Non-injury accident

A vehicle collided with another vehicle that was legally parked on Gaunt Avenue, 12:26 p.m. Oct. 11.

Missing juvenile

A 15-year-old male was reported as a runaway by his mother on Monterey Street, 3:11 a.m. Oct. 11.

Assault

A man was assaulted by three unknown individuals as he walking home on No Name Uno, 6:50 a.m. Oct. 11. The victim was knocked to the ground and kicked several times in his torso and head. He received stitches on his chin.

Two female juveniles were involved in a fight on Sunflower Circle, 9:36 p.m. Oct. 11.

Traffic violations

A white 1992 Cadillac was towed from Alexander and Old Gilroy streets, 10:15 a.m. Oct. 11.
