An unidentified person was scammed out of $250 during a coin
game at Wal-Mart, 7150 Camino Arroyo, 7:32 p.m. Tuesday. The three
thieves involved all fled prior to police arrival.
Grand theft
A thief or thieves stole a gray pole trimmer with white spray paint valued at $550 from a work trailer on Monterey Street, 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Stolen vehicle
A thief or thieves stole a 1995 black Honda Civic from in front of a residence on El Cerrito Way, between 7:30 p.m. Monday and 6:40 a.m. Tuesday. In the car was a purse valued at $40 with a social security card and birth certificate.
A thief of thieves stole a 1994 green Honda Accord from Wren Avenue, 9:13 a.m. Tuesday.
Fraud
Someone used a credit card to make $249.78 in unauthorized charges, between 12:01 and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Petty theft
Three black male adults entered a store on Leavesley Road, 2:15 p.m. Tuesday. One of the them attempted to make a purchase with what appeared to be a fraudulent credit card while the other two stole watches valued at $70 and fled in a Dodge van.

Missing juvenile
A juvenile girl left for a friend’s house Sunday around 12 p.m. She hadn’t returned to her home on Briarberry Lane as of Tuesday and may be at her boyfriend’s house in San Jose.
Non-injury accident
A non-injury accident involving a red Toyota 4Runner occurred on West 10th and Eigleberry streets, 8:55 p.m. Tuesday.
