Prep Basketball: 5 Mustangs, 3 Cougars earn league honors

Christopher’s Shane Suttles, Evan Shapiro and Zach Fishler have helped lead the Cougars all season, while Gilroy’s Zach Loo, Josiah Wiley, Chris Chang, Travis Moulden and Hector Perez did the same for the Mustangs. All were recognized for their efforts Saturday with postseason honors.
Christopher’s seniors received Monterey Bay Gabilan League All-League honors, putting the cherry on top of their high school careers.
Suttles was named to the All-League First Team, while Shapiro earned All-League Defensive Team honors. Fishler was named to the Sportsmanship Team. 
Loo was given All-League First Team honors in the Pacific Division, while Wiley and Chang were named Second Team. Moulden was an honorable mention and Perez was named to the All-League Sportsmanship team.
