The Gilroy boys soccer team poses with their Central Coast Section championship medals in front the sign displaying its accomplishment at Gilroy High.

Gilroy’s Andres Jimenez, Carlos Jimenez and Sean Kauffman all topped the list in the Monterey Bay League Gabilan Division honors.
The trio were named First Team All-League for their performances this season. Andres led the Mustangs with 27 goals in the regular season and scored in the Central Coast Section championship game in which the team ended up tying Serra 2-2.
Christopher’s leading scorer Hibsen Tamayo received MBL-Pacific Division First team honors
Senior midfielder Luis Urias, junior midfielder David Solorzano and junior forward Alejandro Flores were all named Second Team All-League. Senior goalkeeper Angel Velasquez was named to the Sportsmanship team.
Goalie Carlos Arroyo was named Second Team All-League for the Cougars while Armand Kohayan was named to the Sportsmanship team.
