Mike Sandoval’s two-run home run in the fifth inning snapped a 4-4 tie as Pro Electric opened the second half of the Men’s C League with a 9-5 victory over Pizza N’ Stuff Monday at Christmas Hill Park.
Rosendo Acevedo and Albert Cortez added solo homers for Pro Electric. Ryan Evanger accounted for two of the five hits for Pizza N’ Stuff, the first-half Men’s CC winner.
Justin Nichols hit a three-run home run and Kurtis Salter lined four hits as DS Builders topped Malibu Freezze 21-8.
Chad Brownfield went 3-for-4 and scored four DS Builders runs. Brent Boyd and Brian O’Donoghue each went 2-for-3 for Malibu Freezze.
Fred Cowens hit a grand slam and solo home run as Tax Systems defeated the Desperados 27-20 in the Men’s CCC opener Monday at Las Animas Park.
Daniel Hernandez went 4-for-4 for Tax Systems. Lorenzo Nino and Justin Tandy each homered for the Desperados. Dustin Hyer went 4-for-4.
Lawrence Espinoza clubbed two home runs and Luis Bobadilla went 5-for-5 to key a 23-7 Lozano’s Hit Me Hit It victory over Just Drink It. Danny Garcia and Frank Cabrera each went 3-for-4 for Just Drink It.

The Icy Hotz opened Co-Rec C play Sunday with an 18-5 win over the Big Kahunas.
Tim Adams contributed four singles and scored four runs for the Hotz. Brian Moreno went 6-for-6 and Manuel Arce hit a grand slam. Rudi Groppe homered for the Kahunas.
Joe Tovar went 3-for-4 and Rich Wallace tripled and doubled to spark ifly past El Fuego 13-5. Jesus Arias belted a home run and Chris Hatch netted two doubles for El Fuego.
Tiff McIntosh and Jeramiah Galvan each homered to lift Team Strike by Blackout Window Tinting 14-4. Serf Mancera hit a triple and two singles for Blackout.
