Quintana is a rising star from Puerto Rico. As the former WBA FedLatino Champion, Quintana is currently ranked #12 by the WBA and recently destroyed another top prospect in

Cassiani (25-3) in his last fight. Quintana will have his hands full when he takes on Mauro Lucero. Lucero, from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico has gone toe-to-toe with top contenders throughout his career including Julian Wheeler, Francisco Bojado, Kelson Pinto and Michael Lerma. Lucero is the former Mexican Light Welterweight Champion and has recently challenged for both the WBC and IBA titles.

In the Miller Lite Fight Night at The Tank co-main event, San Jose’s own Bermejo will make his debut at the Shark Tank when he takes on Amezcua. Bermejo is no stranger to SRL promotions as he most recently defeated Carlos Cisneros with a four-round TKO at the Pala Casino on a SRL card that was televised nationally on ESPN2.

Another fighter who has made his mark both in and out of the boxing ring is San Jose’s Owens (1-1-0, 1 KO). Last season, Owens, a world-renowned kick boxer and a former IKF US International Rules Champion, made his pro boxing debut at Miller Lite Fight Night at the Tank with a rousing third-round stoppage of Carlos Espinoza. Owens will face Tovar (0-1-1) of Riverside.
